ATSM #272: Make Your Mark

Hello again, friends! Time for another challenge over at Addicted To Stamps and More and it is the last challenge for the year. I know right? Where has the year gone?!

This week we are playing Make Your Mark. For this challenge, you can create anything you like as long as you use something to make a mark. Feel free to use pencils, pens, markers, chalks, crayons, paints, stains, inks ... whatever takes your fancy.

I made a festive card. Being so close to Christmas and all that. I've used all things Lawn Fawn for this card. The woodgrain background, the owl, the sentiment, the dies and the inks too.

Here's a closer at the images. I coloured the little owl with Faber Castell Polychromo

Now it's your turn to link up your project for the Make Your Mark challenge. There are so many colouring media to choose from. I look forward to seeing your projects.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have fun with this challenge.

ATSM #270: Photo Inspiration

Hello again, friends! Time for another challenge over at Addicted To Stamps and More. This week the theme is Photo Inspiration. All you have to do is create a project inspired by this lovely photo. You can pick the colours, elements, textures etc. There's no right or wrong answer.

Here is my card - I totally CASEd the inspiration photo. In other words, it's a shameless facsimile. Why mess with perfection, right?!

The background woodgrain effect is a stamp by Lawn Fawn. The words are from a stamp set by Claire Brennan (Waltzing Mouse). The additional foliage is hand drawn with a Sharpie White Paint. And finally, some red twine for a festive touch.

Now it's your turn to link up your project to the Photo Inspiration challenge. Don't forget to let us know what elements from the photo inspired you.

Thanks for stopping by and have fun with this challenge.
